Thursday.

I'm trying to memorize the Scout Oath, and the Scout Law. And I'm really trying hard. I need to memorize them before I go up a rank this summer.

I haven't been doing any good turns to write about lately. But that doesn't mean I'm not trying to be scout-worthy. I will write more later. Thank you for your attention.

Happy Easter

Easter is the day that Jesus rised. On Friday, Jesus got killed and then on Sunday he rose and went to see his friends. He told them not to be sad or scared, but to live a good life, be good, and tell people about Heaven.

Jesus wants people to do good turns. Especially scouts. Because that's the scout slogan.

On Thursday I cleaned up dried paint on my art table. On Friday, I had a day off of school so I played with the dogs outside and kept them company all day.

p.s. sorry I haven't written in my blog for a week. Seriously, I was busy over this week. I had a test in history about the 13 colonies. I simply had to do a lot of studying.

My Good Turn on Wednesday

I remember. In the morning, I had no clean shirts. My mom had done laundry and there were three baskets in the basement that needed to be brought up. Instead of just going and getting the one shirt I wanted out of one of the baskets I went down and brought up a whole basket. Mom told me I should bring up all three. So I did. And then mom folded all the laundry. And I put mine away.

Wednesday

My good turn today was ... I haven't done one yet. It is 6:40. I'll think of something.

Good turn for Tuesday

Today I pushed in the chairs people forgot to push in at their desks in the classroom. It is important to push your chair back in so people don't trip over the chair and break their heads.

Monday's Good Turns

I picked up the floor in my classroom. My teacher asked us to do so. I didn't complain.

I'm Geoff's mom.

Geoff is my 11 year old son, and he wanted to journal something for Boy Scouts. A Boy Scout is supposed to "Do a Good Turn Daily" and in order to make sure he does, I've encouraged him to write them down.

Better yet, why not share what he's doing and thinking and feeling as he tries to be a better Boy Scout.
